Their first daughter, Mary, ( named after his late mother ) is born. The rumor of 'Faul McCartney' surfaces the same year: the conspiracy that Paul McCartney had died in a car crash in '66 and was replaced by a lookalike. Their final years bring forth albums such as Sgt. Pepper's & Magical Mystery Tour ( a creation of Paul's desire to keep the band together ), Yellow Submarine, The White Album, & finally Abbey Road & Let it Be before the band called it quits in 1970. Prior to and after Paul's official departure from The Beatles, he suffered a deep, severe depression. He would stay in bed and drink all day, & the only woman who could pull him out of it was Linda, who praised his works & gave him reason to continue writing and playing music.
